STUDENTS' WELL- BEING AND HAPPINESS DURING COVID-19

The MSCA research project "SHINE – Students’ well-being and happiness during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in Greece and Cyprus” is being carried out at the European University of Cyprus under the supervision of Prof Marios Vryonides.

CRISIS, AUSTERITY AND EDUCATION INEQUALITIES

This research study attempted through focus groups interviews to give sixteen high school students the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and insights of the impact of the socio-economic crisis on Greek society, education and themselves.

EDUCATION

IN THE MIDST OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC CRISIS

This research project aimed to explore how teachers experienced the socio-economic crisis in Greece and the new challenges that stemmed from it; to discuss the purpose of education and the role it should play in preparing young people for this social, cultural and economic transition.
