The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of teacher educators on the adequacy of the initial teacher preparation programmes and continuous professional development programmes in Greece, Nigeria, and Jamaica. The study was also aimed at determining the differences and similarities in the perceptions of teacher educators on the educational reforms, policies and practices, the curriculum, infrastructure, and the modality across the three countries. Cross-cultural and inter-cultural factors which affect teacher education programmes were also examined.
