This research project is part of the actions designed by the European University Cyprus to pave the way for substantial and sustainable change in gender mainstreaming in all aspects of the

University. The purpose of this research study is to assess the structural, institutional, and individual barriers to women's participation in leadership and decision-making, to identify barriers to women's career advancement, and to identify current practices for mainstreaming the gender dimension.
